I plan a handful of trips a year, in person, for people I get to know first. Every day is written by hand and yours to scribble on.
Twelve years of walking cities before I recommend them. I still write itineraries the way I write postcards — by hand first, one day at a time, with the name of the woman who runs the bakery.
Every trip is planned around how you actually travel: how early you like to start, how far you'll walk, where you'd rather linger than rush.
